Terms of Services
The conditions that apply when using this site and its coverage inquiry tools.
Acceptance of Terms
Using this site, registering an account or submitting a coverage inquiry means these terms apply in full. Anyone who does not accept them should stop using the site and refrain from submitting information through it.
Nature of the Service
AmandaHub provides information and assistance for exploring home, auto, health, Medicare, life and travel coverage options. The site itself is not an insurance carrier and does not underwrite policies. Coverage is issued by licensed insurers, and their policy documents govern what is actually covered.
Account Registration
Registration requires details that are accurate and current. Account credentials must be kept confidential, and any activity carried out under a set of credentials is treated as authorised by the account holder. Suspected unauthorised access should be reported through the contact details at the end of these terms.
Accuracy of Information Submitted
Quotes and coverage comparisons are only as reliable as the details they are built from. Inaccurate or incomplete information can lead to a quote that does not hold, an application that is declined, or a claim that is reduced or refused by the insurer.
Electronic Communications and Consent
Submitting an inquiry or registering an account allows service communications to be sent by email, SMS or phone in connection with that activity. Marketing communications are sent only where separate consent has been given, and consent is never a condition of purchasing coverage.
Message frequency may vary and standard message and data rates may apply. Replying STOP ends further messages and replying HELP returns support information.
Permitted Use
The site is offered for personal, lawful use in connection with genuine coverage inquiries. The following are not permitted.
- Submitting false, misleading or fraudulent information
- Attempting to access accounts, systems or data belonging to others
- Copying, scraping or republishing content from this site without permission
- Introducing malicious code or interfering with how the site operates
- Using the site for any purpose that breaks applicable law
Intellectual Property
Text, layout, graphics, logos and code on this site are protected and remain the property of their owner. Nothing on the site grants a licence to reuse that material beyond ordinary browsing, and permission must be obtained before any part of it is reproduced elsewhere.
Third Party Links and Providers
Links to carriers, underwriters and other external resources appear where they are useful. Those destinations operate under their own terms and privacy practices, and responsibility for their content, availability and handling of information rests with them.
No Guarantee of Coverage or Pricing
Figures shown during an inquiry are indications only. Final pricing, eligibility and terms are set by the insurer after underwriting, and an application may be accepted, adjusted or declined at their discretion. Nothing on this site amounts to a binding offer of insurance.
Limitation of Liability
The site is provided on an as available basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the site, from reliance on information found here, or from any interruption in availability.
Indemnification
Anyone who misuses the site or breaches these terms agrees to cover the resulting claims, losses and reasonable legal costs, including those arising from information they submitted that turns out to be false or from activity carried out under their account credentials.
Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Disputes connected to the site or these terms are resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except where a claim qualifies for small claims. Class or representative proceedings are waived to the extent the law allows, and each party bears its own costs unless the arbitrator decides otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be revised as the site develops or as legal requirements change. The revision date near the top of this page reflects the current version, and continued use after a revision means the updated terms apply.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to conflict of law principles. Where a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply in full.
